Brian grew up on a grain and livestock farm near Forrest, Illinois. After graduating from Forrest-Strawn-Wing High School, he attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Ag Economics and Ag Mechanization. He started in the farm management business with Champaign National Bank following graduation in the summer of 1986. After several mergers and 27 years with the company, Brian left Busey Bank in September 2013 to establish Waibel Farmland Services Inc., based in Mahomet, Illinois.
Brian holds the Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) designation with the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and Real Estate Designated Managing Broker in the State of Illinois. Each requires regular continuing education to keep abreast of changes in the industry. In addition to the knowledge acquired growing up on the farm, he has enjoyed the practical experience gained in operating a small Livingston County farm with his brother since 2003.
Brian and his wife Wendy live in Mahomet. Wendy assists with office responsibilities at WFSI. Together they are the thankful parents of four children and nine grandchildren.

Seth was born and raised in Mahomet, Illinois, and his interest and passion for agriculture has only grown since he started farming the living room floor with toy tractors as a toddler. Seth participated in many agriculture-related classes and experiences throughout his time as a high-school student and as a 4-H and FFA member. He graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School in 2014 and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Technical Systems Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May of 2017.
After several years of part-time employment at Waibel Farmland Services throughout college, Seth joined the business full-time following his graduation. He has taken particular interest in farms under regenerative or organic management, taking every opportunity he can to attend a conference, read a book or magazine, or get hands on experience learning about these practices. As part of this effort, he and his wife Adrienne run a market garden on about 1/2 of an acre, growing fresh vegetables and sweet corn to sell to local families in Mahomet where they live. They are blessed with three children.
